Hinduja Hospital world class leaders in healthcare delivery has raised the bar for quality in health services with the recently received ISO 27001:2005 certification from ISOQAR (UKAS Accredited certification body) after successfully completing all the requirements set by the ISO 27001 standard under UKAS Accreditation in February 2011. It is the world's highest accreditation for information protection and security with regard to its IT information assets utilized by various functions of the Hospital for provision of Health care services.

ISO 27001:2005 certification is the world's highest accreditation for information protection and security of patients' medical and personal information in all aspects of patient care. P. D. Hinduja Hospital is the third hospital in the world to receive this certification setting new standards in dealing with patient information security and a trend for other healthcare institutions to follow. Good information security builds the patients' confidence and trust in an organization. Comprehensive and reliable Information security controls improve the organization's profitability by reducing both the number and the extent of information security breaches thus reducing both the direct and indirect costs.
