Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a genetic, progressive and rare disease. It affects an individual’s ability to walk, eat and breathe.
Due to lack of awareness about SMA, it affects approximately one in 10,000 live births and is a leading genetic cause of death among infants.
