Job Description:

To assist Manager Housekeeping in preparing department information reports/revenue statement
-
Corrective action on patient complaints/feedback regarding service delivery.
-
Ensuring that manpower utilization is done to the optimum for effective service.
-
Liasoning with regulatory body for waste disposal audit.
-
Ensure that the agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas of hospital.
-
Weekly inventory & maintaining the stock of all items required for housekeeping, & ensuring proper issue and storage.
-
Coordinating and conducting meeting with supervisors for daily operations.
-
Assisting in annual performance appraisals.
-
Formulate daily work schedule per shift, allotment of duties & deployment of staff.
-
Demonstrate to small groups of housekeeping staff about special cleaning methods as a part of on job training.

Grievance handling & counseling staff in matters of work and hospital discipline.
-
Maintenance and updating of cleaning schedule specified on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Assist the manager in all administrative & operational matters and carry out special instructions given by the manager.
