Heart Attack:Different Warning Signs For Men and Women

Heart Attack occurs whenever there is reduction of blood supply to the myocardium(heart muscle).Whatever the cause maybe,heart attacks are usually far more subtle in men than in women as far as their warning signs are concerned.It would be advisable to seek medical help whenever a woman experiences the following symptoms:
  • A feeling of shortness of breath, usually not accompanied by chest pain.
  • Nausea, cold sweats,clamminess
  • Weakness, unexplained fatigue, dizziness
  • Pain in the neck, the jaw, the chest, shoulders, and upper back
  • General discomfort, loss of appetite, and feelings of anxiety
