  • In USA - 2 months as VISITING CLINICIAN - Hepatobiliary Unit, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota
  • In Britain - 4 years (1 August 1993 to 31 August 1997) as SENIOR  REGISTRAR IN GI SURGERY - Hepatopancreaticobiliary and Liver Transplantation Unit, Royal Free Hospital, London and Colorectal Unit, Chase Farm Hospital, London
  • In India - 5.5 years (1 February 1988 to 30 April 1993) as INTERNSHIP, RESIDENCY PROGRAM AND LECTURER, KEM Hospital, Mumbai - Rotating Internship through the various Departments, Residency Program in the Department of Surgery, as SHO, followed by rotation through Departments of ENT, Orthopaedics, Urology and CVTS, Registrar and Lecturer in General and GI Surgery.
