After obtaining her BDS degree under Maharashtra University (MUHS) in 2004, Dr. Raashi Khatri Panjabi shifted career paths and pursued a MD degree along with a Masters in Orofacial pain and Temporomandibular Disorders at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, UMDNJ-NJDS, USA.

She is the youngest Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain (ABOP) and also has a Fellowship in Orofacial pain from New Jersey Dental School. She has had her clinical research published in acclaimed international journals as well has lectured extensively on "Pain and sensory changes in HIV+ pts" at international conferences including International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP).

Since her return to Mumbai in 2009, she founded The Center for Orofacial Pain, which is the first of its kind in India. It is a multi-disciplinary center in Mumbai with clinics in Juhu and Kemps Corner aimed at providing the latest treatment modalities for pain management. Currently She consults at the prestigious PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre.

She is an active member of several international organizations including the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, International Headache Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, International Association of Dental Research; and has been opportuned to present lectures, abstracts and posters at their annual conferences. Besides her academic stint at the KJ Somaiya Medical college, she is persevering to increase awareness on pain management though journals and newspaper publications, CME programmes, lectures, workshops at conferences and medical colleges all over India.

The Center for Orofacial Pain aims at providing treatment for patients suffering from Headaches (migraine, cluster, tension type, Cervicogenic etc), Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders, Neuropathic pain (Neuralgias including Trigeminal neuralgia, Glossopharyngeal neuralgia), Burning mouth syndrome or Glossodynia (burning tongue), HIV related neuropathies, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), Fibromyalgia, Sleep Apnea, Atypical odontalgia (Phantom tooth pain), Toothaches of non-dental origin.
